Garam Masala Indian Restaurant
Garam Masala is an Indian restaurant and takeaway based on Colney Hatch Lane in Muswell Hill. Indian cuisine is as diverse as its people and geography. Over the centuries, each new wave of settlers brought with them their own culinary practice which, with time, blended into the Indian cuisine as it is known today.
Garam Masala was established in 2010 with an Award winning head chef at the helm. Our head chef has 15 years experience, and has worked at the Hilton, Sheraton and Kempensky. All our chefs pay high attention to every dish - all of them need personal touch.
Most Indian cuisines are related by significant usage of spices, such as cumin, mustard seeds, turmeric, fenugreek, coriander, red chilli powder and asafoetida. Another very important spice is the 'garam masala' which is usually a powder of five or more dried spices.
